COMPENSATION:	$17/hr. - $18.75/hr. (Operator wage)

Job Overview:

The Thread Roll Machine Operator is responsible for operating Thread Roll machines to ensure quality product is produced. Should a Machine Operator prove to be effective in their operator duties, they will have the opportunity to advance into the Setup Tech training program, gaining a unique and valuable skill set with compensation increases up to $26/hr.

Responsibilities:

Operator Duties:

Perform quality inspections using required measurement equipment per job specifications, often rotating between 3 – 4 machines at a time.
Make accurate and complete data entries into the ERP system PLEX.
Perform pan dumps when product is free from error.
Follow the reaction plan for non-conforming or suspect product.
Perform daily measurement equipment verifications in calibration logs.
Startup and shutdown machines.
Maintain proper oil levels on machines throughout each shift.
Setup process monitors.
Operate production floor scale(s).
Operate Hilo to move product to required machines/areas as needed.

Setup Tech Duties:

Setup thread rolling machines by changing out tooling and making adjustments to machine.
Troubleshoot for job development.
Assist other departments with problem solving and prevention for corrective actions.
Alert proper personnel for tooling repairs and machine repairs.

Requirements for Education, Experience, and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic data entry skills.
Basic math skills.
Demonstrates mechanical aptitude.
Able to efficiently multi-task and keep pace with the manufacturing floor.
Willing and able to work in a loud and oily work environment, following proper safety measures in place.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. and occasionally life and/or move 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
Must be able to work on feet for prolonged periods of time while using tools and perform repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.

Requirements for Setup Tech training advancement:

Completion of one year as an Operator (minimum) in which the team member demonstrates he/she can effectively and consistently perform the essential functions of an operator.
Must have acceptable attendance record.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude and maintain good relations with coworkers.
