    Thread Roll Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday)

    FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time
    SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday, 12pm - 10pm
    SHIFT: 2nd
    COMPENSATION: $17/hr. - $18/hr. (+5% shift prem. for 2nd shift)

    Job Overview:

    The Thread Roll Operator is responsible for operating Thread Roll machines to ensure quality product is produced. This is a feeder position into higher skilled and higher paid manufacturing positions within the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform quality inspections using required measurement equipment per job specifications, often rotating between 3 – 4 machines at a time.
    • Make accurate and complete data entries into the ERP system PLEX.
    • Perform pan dumps when product is free from error.
    • Follow the reaction plan for non-conforming or suspect product.
    • Perform daily measurement equipment verifications in calibration logs.
    • Startup and shutdown machines.
    • Maintain proper oil levels on machines throughout each shift.
    • Setup process monitors.
    • Operate production floor scale(s).
    • Operate Hilo to move product to required machines/areas as needed.
    • Participate in all 5S initiatives and daily duties within the department.
    • Perform other duties/assignments per the direction of the Thread Roll Team Leader and/or Bay Boss.

    Requirements for Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Basic data entry skills
    • Basic math skills
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
    • Able to efficiently multi-task and keep pace with the manufacturing floor
    • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. and occasionally life and/or move 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
    • Must be able to work on feet for prolonged periods of time while using tools and perform repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
